The Learning Commons encompasses the Mabee Library, Institutional Repository, the Kresge Academic Support Center, the Center for Games & Learning, the Mabee Computer Lab and Tech Help Desk, Archives, and the “Dewey’s Book & Bean” coffee shop.

The Kresge Academic Support Center is pleased to welcome Jenelle Jefferson as the new Mathematics Specialist. She teaches developmental mathematic courses, reviews current mathematics curriculum, and works with students in the Kresge Center. Jenelle has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Belhaven University and a Master’s degree in Operations Research from North Carolina State University.
Did you know that Mabee Library is now open until 12am (midnight) Sundays through Thursdays during the traditional Fall and Spring semesters? This has been a huge success, and students love the expanded hours. Library hours are: 7 a.m. - 12 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays; 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., Fridays; 12 - 5 p.m., Saturdays; and 8 p.m. - 12 a.m., Sundays.
