Computer Lab & Tech Help
The Mabee Computer Lab contains 40 computers, and a projector with a large screen. When the Computer Lab is not in use for instruction, it may be used by MNU students. A Tech Help service is also available.
Technology help for students is available at the service desk in the entrance of the library. Our student workers have been trained in the most frequently-encountered problems associated with Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SkyDrive (cloud file storage), wireless access, and operating systems. They can help you with many laptop and tablet issues, but cannot reinstall software, solve computer virus problems, or perform hardware repairs. There is a lot they can do, though, so when in doubt, please ask!
If the service desk is unoccupied, please hold on a moment—the student workers are likely nearby helping someone with computer or printer issues, and they will be back soon.
