What will happen at my first session?
Come to the Counseling and Wellness Center lobby and your counselor will greet you when it’s time to meet. The initial session is get to know each other and a time to explore your concerns. You will be asked to sign a few forms. If you don’t know where to start or are overwhelmed, don’t worry, our counselors provide an atmosphere of calm and you will find a way to start.
What if I do not like my counselor or would like to try another counselor?
At the Counseling and Wellness Center we believe a good connection with a counselor is important. We encourage you to try two sessions before making a change. However, if after the second session you still feel this is not a good fit, then please feel free to discuss with the counselor or email Elizabeth Diddle, Director, and she will work with you for the best solution. Her email is email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
